Safer Internet Day 2015
Tuesday, February 10th was Safer Internet Day. Its purpose is to 2015 to promote a better internet for children. A new Primary Anti-Cyber Bullying Resource, which will help your school meet the education and prevention strategy requirements of the Anti-Bullying Procedures, was launched. Kildare Regional Concert - National Children's Choir
The National Children’s Choir / Cór Náisiúnta na n-Óg is a school-based choral experience for primary school children. In 2013 the first Kildare Regional Concerts were held. The second biennial concert of the National Children’s Choir (Kildare) will feature 500 Kildare primary school children performing a repertoire of 18 songs in City West Hotel on May 21st, 2015 at 8pm. YEATS2015 - Yeats Among School Children National Competition
Kildare Education Centre, in conjunction with Yeats2015, the DES and the Association of Teachers/Education Centres in Ireland has organised an art/writing competition and book project for primary school children. This project is known as Yeats Among Schoolchildren. Prize winners will attend an event in the Kildare Education Centre on Wednesday April 29th, starting at 6pm.
