Modern Languages - Spanish Resources

This resource list was developed for the Modern Languages in Primary Schools Initiative. It contains a range of materials that can be used by teachers of Spanish involved in primary teaching. The list includes books, songs, stories, videos, research and reference materials.

The MLPSI highly encourages and supports the use of a cross-curricular, activity-based methodology. We do not recommend a textbook or linear-type approach to the language. The following materials are considered core materials. It is strongly advised that they are acquired by all schools.

Me gusta and Todos juntos are the latest publications from the Consejería. In them teachers will find units developed and ready for use in the classroom with many wonderful ideas and suggestions.
