Kildare Education Centre supports: the delivery of professional development courses for the Education community at a local and national level the PPDS Advisors the provision of ICT Training inclluding Whole School Consolidation of curricular review through support groups and local courses Whole School planning and development Induction of newly qualified teachers The Centre is involved with many projects some of which include: Write a book Birds in the School Yard E-twinning FIS film project T4 Seismology in Schools TL21 Transfer Initiative Discover Sensors The Centre engages with many agencies some of which are: PPDS - Primary Professional Development Service SLSS - Second Level Support Service SESS - Special Education Support Service NCTE - National Centre for Technology in Education TPNs - Teacher Professional Networks TPCs - Teacher Professional Communities NEPS - National Educational Psychological Service The Centre Management Committee is elected annually at the AGM by the members of the Centre.
