21KEC426 Kildare Schools Online Chess Tournaments

Monday 15th November 2021 from 7pm-8pm

Ficheall are delighted to announce that it will host a series of online chess tournaments in November 2021 in preparation for an online Féilte Fichille tournament in Spring 2022.

Ficheall will provide training and support to all interested teachers and principals in

• how to set up an online chess account
• how to organise an online chess club for students
• how to organise online chess tournaments for students in your school
• how to participate in online chess tournaments against other schools

While the practice tournaments will begin in November 2021, primary school students are welcome to join at any time in advance of the one-off Féilte Fichille tournament in 2022. The practice and Féilte Fichille tournaments will take place outside of school hours. School teachers and principals facilitate their students' involvement.
