20KEC226 Introduction to iPAD in the Primary Classroom

Please note:  This is a repeat of the Introduction to the iPAD workshop held in Kildare E C on the 6th February.

Join us from 4pm to 6pm on Thursday 23rd April in Kildare Education Centre for an introduction to iPads in the Primary classroom. During this free training event, you will discover the practical, easy to use ways the iPad can enhance student learning and make the curriculum more accessible to all learners.

In this hands on workshop you will learn how to:

 ·         Efficiently navigate your iPad to use and find resources, freeing up your time so you can concentrate on teaching and learning.

·         Enhance students’ creativity and communication through maximising the use of native iPad apps and built in features.

·         Use the camera to capture evidence of learning and empower students to communicate their understanding in a clear, effective way.

·         Use the iPad’s built in accessibility features such as zoom, dictation and reader view to create a more inclusive classroom that enables all students to communicate and access learning and achieve the learning outcomes.

As part of this event, we will also introduce you to a suite of free online resources and training to give you the confidence, tools and resources to enhance learning for all students in your class.
